Looking for Information on an old favorite horse

His name was Mythical Ruler, he raced at Ellis Park in the early 80's so i am sure he is dead now but he is without a doubt one of the main reasons i love this sport so much. The best days of my childhood were spent leaning on the rail at Ellis Park rooting for him to beat his nemesis Vodika Collins He had a very productive career, even running in the 1981 Ky Derby. He went to stud in Canada and the last i could find was that he was at Shannandoe Farm. I sent them a letter asking for information but i didn't get any response. If i could get my hands on a picture of him in the winner's circle it would be a treasured posession to be sure. If anyone knows of a source for information on past runners please let me know.

If you call Ellis, they might be able to get you a winner circle picture. I know Arlington has a catalog and saves all their winner circle pictures for some time
