You do not want to drive it. It is a traffic mess.
Take the amtrak down to penn station and then the subway to the stadium. The only problem is the amtrak only leaves a couple times a day and takes 4 hrs to get to NYC from Saratoga Springs. Greyhound is a little cheaper but it sucks. It does leave a bunch of times a day though. You can also take the LIRR from Penn Station to Floral Park right next to belmont park, or there is a train that goes directly to Belmont, which is really the best track in the world. |

If you aren't staying in NYC or near Yankee Stadium maybe you should drive but if you are staying in NYC a car is a waste. |

I was too young to really APPRECIATE that and the baseball hall of fame, I think I would get more from it now |

Veterans Stadium, Shea, Yankee, Fenway, Pittsburgh, old Baltimore Stadium(man what a neighborhood that was in, that was my first dose of REAL life), Cooperstown, and forgetting one stadium... Also saw bootleg historical stuff(Statue of Liberty, that bell in Philly) that I wasn't too thrilled about but I think my dad and uncle told my mom and aunt that we would go, make it a little easier to see 4 weeks of baseball. |
