Tiger did... the course was short and he didn't want to be up to his eyes in grass in the rough and it was NOT windy and in southern England. He would NOT have been able to do it on any of the other Open courses (especially the northern courses with the wind).

and the kicker.... Norman's IN the Masters next year! That should make for some interesting side bets in Vegas.

7,258 yards isn't that short. The course just didn't set up very well for him to use his driver. He had the discipline to stick with his game plan and it worked.
