Hey Doc: hope you are doing well...thought I'd jump in before Kev and just say that Kennys' priorities don't seem to follow the norm....If you're familiar with his life, he's a good ol boy who still races cars and coaches his boys golf team and is financially set....the rest is just icing on the cake, imho!

It's actually refreshing to have you guys singing the praises of a guy who has priorities I admire such as his connection to his family and being a man of his word with his commitments professionally. I am all for that if that is what has him staying on this side of the pond this week.

On my best day as 10-12 type of golfer I have no clue what game these guys actually play but it's not golf as I know it for sure. Having said that I am sure you guys are right about "his game" and strengths not being "links friendly" but the guy is on such a roll it almost seems like his putter is nothing short of spectacular which to some extent is "always" what the game is about at some point in a golf tournament. The guy has been unconscious the last month and I thought it would be the time to push the envelope and see what happens. Who knows how long this putter is going to act like it's magnetized to the hole. I mean the guy was making 20 ft saves for par on a decent course last week like they were tap ins.

Certainly you want to applaud a guy who just says no to the spotlight but just think what they would be saying if he ever won over there as nutz as that sounds...

He has been this hot before(2005 I think,) and I also thought that he was gunna win a major. He hardly gets on T.V. in majors(doesn't really contend much.) Don't know what he does to score poorly, but he struggles(except for in the '96 PGA....2ND I think.)

Was he really this hot in 2005 Scuds....he seems like he is currently dominating like only "he who cannot be mentioned" did during various parts of his career.

(CHANGE THE YEAR TO 2003.)

Sorry,it was 2003. He won 3 out of 4( THE REASON I THOUGHT IT WAS 2005 WAS BECAUSE HE WENT NUTS AT THE COLONIAL, AND SIMPLY BURIED THE FIELD.)In 2003 he won 3 out of 4, and the one loss was a third in the U.S. open. He wasn't close to winning that. It was like a late sunday rally for scraps. He is a very good player, but very streaky. Kind of a freak when his putter gets going.
