It is very sad.

Looking at it a different way, is this a good or a bad thing for the breed?

Dalakani is probably right. Unraced after a wonderful 2 yr old campaign but, again, very fragile. I actually saw him early last week when I was down in Lexington. He was gorgeous. Very sad to see them go though.
