A guy ran the 400 meter hurdles, qualified, and then ran the 400 m run 30 minutes later, faltered badly and was vanned off. Actually he just quit and walked off. I cant believe he thought he could pull that off as he barely qualified in the hurdles in an epic struggle.

I actually saw both races, that Tyson Gay was flying. As far as the other guy goes, you know you must be in trouble when you take a delay of game penalty in track and field.

Michael Phelps' performance in the 400 I.M. dwarfed what Rudy Gay did tonight.

400M is the most grueling race, I can't imagine with hurdles too.

He is a sweet looking runner. Very diff. form from Michael Johnson. He
looks totally efficient.

Wariner just didn't have it last night. he closed the lane 5-6 stager to within a step or 2 of Merrit but could get by him.
Merrit, Warnier, Neville.

It is a total leg amputator.
The 800 m is somewhat of a killer also.
The marathon is just plain stupid if you get a sprint at the finish.
Ahhh its just plain stupid anyway.

The day a man wins the 400m and the 800 m will be the day you see the greatest athlete ever. The diff. in the body conformation for these two races is amazing.

100 m 200 m, real muscular guys... 400 m they slim down a bit(except Michael Johnson), 800 m and they turn to greyhounds. After that, 5' 6" 125 lbs is about the right size.
