His shoe problem didn't have anything to do with him coming up empty. Blame the heat or the missed training, but a loose shoe doesn't account for the empty tank. Horses win races without shoes all the time. The excuses are getting old. Maybe he just wasn't good enough to win a TC. All he needed was a 100 beyer and he couldn't even do that.

Getting tired of IEAH and their snake oil salesman. Their comments and the fact that the media picks up on them is insulting to anyone with a brain.

It is like Michael Dickinson telling us every time a horse breaks down it is because the track was Tapeta. Give me a break.

What is really annoying is the media gives these snake oil salesman repeated free media to hype what they are selling.

It's somewhat interesting that Iavarone was "looking" for reasons the horse didn't do what everyone expected -- now the shoe -- and Dutrow keeps saying "no" or "nothing wrong".

I like the last one where Dutrow said they (owner) can keep saying whatever they want, but I am going to keep saying there was nothing wrong with this horse -- or something along those lines.
