My vote goes to Vic. I have nothing against Larry. I believe he's a capable and accurate announcer. I just think Vic is at a higher level right now. I thoroughly enjoy his calls, and in fact, started a thread about this at the start of the Hollywood Fall meeting. I ended that thread with "what was Gulfstream's management thinking letting you go".

I don't think it's any contest. I think Vic is a great announcer. I think Collmus is dead-average.

Vic. No contest. Anyone who can continue a call & crack a joke in the middle of a race call during an eartquake,
 to me is the announcing equivalent to the Preakness stumble of AFLEET ALEX, overcoming anything to get the job done.
