That's a bit of a questionable figure - it would give Indian Blessing a 105 as well. Forefathers ran the same time at the same distance earlier in the day.

Just from glancing - it looks like they have the track slowing down some.

I think the track did slow down through out the day. The first race went as fast or nearly as fast as the True North.

I do remember thinking that the track was getting slower as the races went on.

The winner of the first had a dream trip and ran huge - and I think the True North was really lacking, but yeah, it's very possible I suppose.

I've read that they weren't able to water the track for awhile.. which would maybe explain the track slowing. Supposedly it was a lot more loose or sandy for the belmont stakes.

And didn't they ask NYRA to slow the track down after the real fast (time wise) race that Not For Money ran about two weeks ago? They got the track they asked for; now it's an excuse. Unbelieveable.
