BTW..Don't know if it makes Cub fans feel any better or not, but there is no way that either of Kemp or Martin's drives would have gone out of the park at night. Hard to believe that Kemp's went out at all. Looked like he got under that. Surprised it kept going, but that's a strong youngsta right there.

Default Kemp

Kemp is strong as F#ck.

I was at Tuesday's game as well and the fight between Kemp and Torealba was the only enjoyable part of the game tbh. After getting a fist and catchers mit to the throat....Kemp responded and was pulled down to the ground with Yorvit as he got put on his back. Somehow Kemp was able to get back up while still locked up and hip toss a very substantial Torealba the opposite way. By then the benches arrived and last thing i saw of the contenders was a 55 (Martin) diving into the middle.

While it appeared to be Kemp instigating the fight .... I never heard anyone in the media mention that Torealba was given some chin music in the top of the 8th by Wade that put him on his back. That didnt play a factor?

Kerry Wood had Kemp's number once again 2nite.. despite having a girls name. A girl that does porno type of name. That's a burn.

Oh, he struggled again against a good pitcher (Wood.) Really has no shot against somebody like that. He is their bitch, and that's why he had the fight last Tuesday Night. Torrealba bumped this guy at the wrong time. He had just whiffed on a pitch by about 3 feet. Torrealba didn't have to take it to that extreme ( so maybe the chin music had a lil to do with the shot to Kemp's neck.) It was a dangerous blow to the neck. Not cool at all. Just because Kemp was o.k., doesn't mean the next guy will be. Neck n' nad should be off limits.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think Kemp is the perfect guy to hit 2nd in the line-up? He is really fast. Not only that, but the league knows it, and they hurry on groundballs. That means, if the lead-off guy can get on, then you pretty much can rule out a doubleplay. You can force them to throw some fastballs to him too( if a basestealer is on 1st base.)

BTW, Kershaw's best game so far. Broxton actually protected it well (blew 4 guys in a row away.) Capable Cow should be doing that 90% of the time.
