No. If Dutrow was giving a once a month dosage there is no withdrawl and absolutely no effect either way. There is almost certainly an abcess in his foot or a stress fracture somewhere. The steroids thing is totally overblown.

Is that because the dispensed amount each month is smaller than they give the presale horses?

The usual monthly dosage of 5 to 10 cc's is not very much for a mature racehorse. Especially considering that body builders sometimes are taking 2 or 3 cc a day in 21 day cycles.
