No expert, but that shouldn't keep him out. I personally would scratch him because he probably couldn't win if he was 100%. He is a Mineshaft, and his better days are probably ahead of him.

I read about his "work" yesterday in bloodhorse.com and it said he took an "off step" at the end... I bet that is when the stone bruise happened (just speculation).

"Crossing the finish, he gave a slight bobble as if he hit a bad spot and that enabled him to finally change leads as he continued strongly past the wire."

I sure as shootin' wouldn't run my horse if he has a bruise in the left hind hoof.

Montreal is an awesome city. It's like Europe but with an 1:30 plane ride.
