Sorry I don't live in a "america is right about everything" world. That is why we get involved in stupid wars because the idiots in this country believe anything you tell them and there is no accountability for anything.

Americans make excuses for everything. It is the fattest society in the world and americans blame restaurants for putting too much fat in the food. Hilarious. And smokers sue tobacco companies because they couldn't figure out smoking is bad for you.

Why don't we sue the track if we lose money? It is their fault for allowing us to gamble.

Quiet Chris is clearly an oxymoron.

Decision after the vet advises but not looking too good...

On a different note.. PLEASE STOP THE VITRIOLIC UNPLEASANTRIES... I'm unable to police the Forum adequately from here and am bothered by the tremendous lack of mutual respect being displayed the last several days.

We're on the eve of one of the most exciting afternoons available in racing and I'm amazed that I need to intercede on threads with the above idiocy and yesterday's Fat Man Fandango.

Steve

For those at home

VITRIOLIC = harsh or corrosive in tone

For the record, I love Toronto and have no issues with canadians, except the ones that play the Canada vs America card...

Yes this race is so exciting from a betting standpoint. I can't believe that threads on the belmont would turn into a cluster****.

PG '85 better unleash his A-game right quick if he wants to keep pace.

This dude is hotter than Chase Utley and Chipper Jones.

Chris, c'mon man I'm not even through this thread yet and you are digging yourself into a hole here. I kind of see where you are coming from, but save it for the winter when we have nothing else to talk about. We are a day away from the Belmont Stakes and I don't need to be reminded that I need to lose 20 lbs. Damn beer, it's the breweries fault I'm fat.

Okay, let's try and bring this thread back around.

Love Big Brown, or hate Big Brown. Love Casino Drive, or hate Casino Drive. No matter which side of the fence you're on, Casino Drive not running in the race blows.

Spare me the convenient baloney about how Big Brown would have dusted him anyway. Nonsense. It's a horse race, it's not a foregone conclusion. Even if Big Brown wins by 34 lengths tomorrow, you'll never convince me its a foregone conclusion, nor should you think it.

Think of these connections... they made this race infinitely more interesting by brining this horse to America. How often does this happen for our big stage? Not very. They bring him here, he wins his first race like a good thing, gets the juices flowing for a potential Triple Crown showdown with Big Brown, and then boom, the day before the darn horse race, the horse is off.

That sucks.
