Dancing Forever. Hopefully Stalingrad

Wide Open though.

Better Talk Now has his rabbit in today. Shake the Bank will set the pace and anyone who goes with him will be well and truly cooked.

In track and field or cycling events, the field typically DISREGARDS the rabbit. They know the rabbit is only in there to set an honest pace and never engage him. ONLY in horse racing do others feel the need to engage the rabbit. Wonder why that is.

Your theory would be a good one IF there weren't any other closers in the race.

Once again horses are not people.
OTHERS are not the jocks in most cases.
The OTHERS are horses.

The comparison is asinine.
You need to get on the back of a horse
who wants to chase a rabbit. I would
love to see you settle a 1000 lb animal
who wants to go, instead of skinny tubes
of some carbon fiber that has no mind of
its own.

BTW, dogs feel the need to chase rabbits.
That being said there are a lot of closers
so I dont think the rabbit wipes out these
players.

The one thing I learned today is to never doubt yourself, your initial reactions and observations of a race, especially after Harlem Rocker's bad race at Woodbine last week it is natural a bit of doubt may enter the equation. But after J BE K ran them off their feet in the Woody Stephen's it is gratifying to know maybe your observations are correct ones.

It reaffirmed to me that Harlem Rocker's win in the Wither's over the latter was something only a very good horse could do.

Harlem Rocker can bounce back and I believe he will make ammends for that off race last week if not by winning the Queens Plate but something else down the line perhaps the Dandy or even the Travers ? Time will tell on this one.
