If every handicapper on TVG picked losers from today till the end of the year I would be thrilled if TVG stopped treating New York racing as a 2nd rate circuit. I don't watch the network everyday but there have been multiple times a NY race runs and TVG is BEE ESSING while showing the complete post parade for a cheap Hollywood Park race. Then they show the live race of a 4 horse field from Bay Meadows. Then when there is 10MTP to post on the following race in NY they decide to show the previous race from the East Coast on tape delay.

A lot of it has to with TVG being based in Los Angeles. I agree they are biased on So. Cal tracks but they do show all NY races LIVE. Wait till Saratoga opens it will be coast to coast coverage.

TVG lost exclusivity as of 1/1 for NY racing. TVG is an ADW first and a tv network second.

But at least they show most races live. I understand why NY racing is not top priority to the outfit. I just think showing post parade in California while a live race in NY stinks.

Uhhh.. no they don't. Example: TVG chose to show the 2nd race at Hollywood Park ( a claiming race) live over the feature race (Mt. Vernon) at Belmont on May 18. It's ridiculous and they do it constantly.. Gee.. let's watch the Hollywood Park post parade INSTEAD of a live race in NY. (which they do often) Unfortunately for me, I have DirecTV.. so I'm stuck with this only option.. if I didn't.. I'd watch elsewhere.

That very well might be true. To me , it probably has to do with the Pick 4 bets the handicappers put on air. Probably no one on air had the pick 4 going at Belmont so just show the post parade but who knows if its true
