There are other reasons horses wear front wraps. Of course, I am not saying there are other reasons here in this case. However, I'd look to Chuck Simon to answer the question and talk about this.

He wears wraps up front, he ran down in the hind legs.

I could go for a "wrap"
ham, mustard, shredded provolone, lettuce, tomato, sour cream/ salt&pepper in a flour tortilla wrap


yea, maybe turf would be easier on Brown. However pretty soon his insurance will exceed the purse structure and retirement is looooming

Smart man, LOL. Anyway, from what's been said (by Dutrow himself) is that the horse runs down behind and wore the fronts strictly for protection -- I think the comment was something along the line(s) of to prevent him grabbing a quarter or hitting.
