Cassell on West.
NOt a good matchup at all for Boston. West is too quick. This was evident in other games. Rivers just does not trust Rondo. But Rondo's defense is so much better. The Cavs can run an offense through a point guard with this matchup. |

Very good D by Cleveland.
Points scored by Celts after it mattered. Lebron did a good job spreading the ball around. And he actually placed himself in good spots to get other people open. He spaced himself very well without the ball This is encouraging. Joe smith could not miss. Z was on fire and showed his dazzling speed on a pick and roll with Lebron. And Daniel Gibson showed again why he is not a point guard. |

And he moved the ball around well. Ran a pick and roll. This is called patience. THis is not an offensive scheme. Reread my discussions with Horse of Course about Lebron and spacing and driving head down. |

Read mine about getting the ball to other players who can't shoot....and not running the offense through him...and then read the box score for Cleveland-----what game did you watch????

And Rondo sits out and West does not have to work bringing the ball up the floor a lot of good things will happen. I look for Rivers to reinsert Rondo to reek havoc and forget about his offensive mistakes... for a little while. Does the box score mention the lob passes to Lebron saving turnovers? Is there a category for that? |

went from 25 up to 18 up at somewhere around the speed of light. Could not even get the ball down the floor. do you realize how nice it is to have a guy in the game that you can inbound the ball to that just goes up and gets it in a crunch? how much trouble this immediately gets a team out of? Lotta little things he can learn, and a lotta little things he does very well that go unmentioned. |

To yourself. I am trying to stay above the 33% level posting ratio The well known Pillgarden/Mortonsus stat that should be in the boxscore. |

Thats why you watch the game and dont rely
on stats only. The guy is unbelievable.... That is the best defensive game Cleveland has had in the series. Beyond unbelievable. I don't care about the junk points. I don't either....73 is pretty junky--I like 108 better...much better. There is a diff. between playing good D and the other team just shooting poorly. Oh...tonight the Celts 40% was not the same as their other 2 40%ers.....what's the word for beyond unbelieveable??? Somehow I was more impressed with our offense for this 3rd game. The Cavs did a much better job on Cassell, on almost every other player. Garnett will always get his on a team that does not rely solely on his offense. Lost in minutia. Their offense was much better. They had an operational PG as I said. Pray for Cassell again. And Joe Smith playing way over his head. ^^^ Minutia and schizophrenia---all in one post.Only him. |
