I think if you look at the 10th race you could make a case that the track speeded up a little bit.

Did you watch the headon closely; especially on the backstretch?

2nd time starter running right up against the rail, had to be worst part of the track, till he entered the stretch; probably did at least half the backstretch lefty, as well. I realize he saved ground while the 5 was outside.

Kent is either the most confident jock out there or he's nuts. He almost never rides the rail (not like this) and he can't be that familiar with this horse to trust him the way he did.

do they run clockwise or counter in Japan?
