I'm just brainstorming here (scary, I know)but maybe there aren't a lot of jocks agents willing to make a 2 race committment to an unknown commodity? These guys and girls for the most part are professional. I don't see the big deal.
Yeah, not to mention that you give yourself the best chance to do well in the Peter Pan and then put yourself in the best position to get the best jockeys available for the Belmont.
