I don't know what the hell Monba's problem was ... I was shocked at him finishing dead last, honestly. He had a win over the surface, so I assumed he would be somewhat of a factor at the very least. Boy was I wrong ...

think these results could keep trainers from wanting the final prep to be at say the blue grass? will this start to be a race where owners that have derby fever put their horses just to get them the graded earnings? i know its a quick to judge with last year having ss winning and hard spun finishing 2nd, but again just proves no one has any idea what to do with the surface
