It really sounded like an awesome time, rain and all. Probably not the best day to try to enjoy and evaluate the facilities. Kind of like Saratoga on giveaway days and Travers week.
I am actually jealous, my derby day included trips to Freehold Raceway (just beautiful this time of year) and trying to wrestle the remote control out of my sons hands as the horses were getting into the gate. For a kid who likes horses he showed bad timing by wanting to put Spongebob on 18 seconds before the race!

scavs , study of horse faces was the comedy act of the year.. and your 5 day trainers comment...man funny.......nice picks........thanks to chuck again for opening up the stable for the "ellis island" bum rush.........
