I find that the fact that Iavarone was looking to get everyone in the winner's circle a breath of fresh air. A friend of mind was an investor in Captain Bodgit and Irwin basically told them forget about going down to the winner's circle.
I know Louisville didn't need their help, but they pumped some big bucks into that city. My only advice to Pompa would be see if the colt could run in his silks 25% of the time. Now that would be fun. |

Maybe thats because they dont take pictures of the horse who runs second in the Derby. What should Irwin have done, tell the investor to come on down and get a picture with the winning connections horse?
