![]() A couple thoughts for those who want to put me in the corner with the dunce hat on for my opinion:
1) Isn't there some spot in between "sending him" and spotting the entire field 3+ lenghts out of the gate? 2) Would we be defending him so staunchly if Liquidity doesn't miraculously give up the rail last year and Street Sense finishes a well-beaten 2nd? All I'm saying is that he got very lucky last year(and so did I or anyone else who had him on top) with a rail-loving horse who had a much better turn of foot. Does that mean it is automatically the best choice of trips for DoC the next year? Not in my opinion. |

![]() Calvin's ride was just fine. It was the decision to choose post 16 instead of post 2 that baffles me. If Calvin was just going to the rail like that anyways why the hell would you choose post 16?
