TFM, I dont think Reynolds would have done half of what Dutrow has done. Any horse of Reynold's I have seen have terrible feet, thrushed, etc. We will never know, but with BB said feet problems chances are they would have gotten worse in his care.

No I claimed 3 from him between 25-50, and all the shoe work was terrible, and all the feet were thrushed beyond comprehension.

Whomever was taking care of those horses or doing the blacksmith work may want to think about going into another line of work

Rick Dutrow Jr. is one of the few trainers that excels with the cheapest horses at a race track and the very best horses at the highest level.
His record speaks for itself. I don't think Big Brown would have traveled the Derby Trail if IEAH did not purchase him and hand over the reigns to Dutrow Jr.

I didn't read too many Big Brown articles leading up to this race. Was Dutrow always targeting the Derby? Wasn't his 3yo debut supposed to be run on turf?

would that be his record of drug positives? dutrow said regarding his suspensions that 'some he deserved, some he didn't'. didn't seem very apologetic at all about it.
they say sometimes bad things happen to good people...seems the reverse is true as well.

it's just great that two trainers all over the press right now with their big horses are many-times over cheaters. my son asked me yesterday why he was still training if he'd been caught so often. i just snorted while deleting the derby coverage from my t.v.
because,eric, no one cares. that's why. they talk about getting tougher, while turning a blind eye. it's all about the winning.

It's interesting reading this, 'cause I've always felt that Reynolds' horses have just about the worst action this side of those of Ribaudo. (Excluding cheaper stock, of course.)

They never seem to run straight in the lane.
