I think McLaughlin wanted to go to WVA, but West Point prefers the publicity of a million dollar race. If I was in that syndicate, I'd be pissed.

read on bloodhorse he's in the haskell.... 'Flashy Bull was third in his two starts since finishing 13th in the Derby, but has eight top 3 finishes in 12 career starts. The son of Holy Bull -- winner of the 1994 Haskell -- is trained by Kiaran McLaughlin, who won the Belmont with Jazil. "He's run very well in most of his races," McLaughlin said. "Now we hope we get lucky on Sunday' he was entered in both....the west virginia derby article doesn't mention him.
