The Blood Horse reported that the Calder signal was only allowed in in-state OTB's, and no ADW's. So to compare the handle it last year is totally worthless.

I could be wrong but I don't believe the initial post was trying to make that point.

I didn't either and was glad STS cleared it up for me.

Not all of us are on top of the horseman's contract negotiations with Calder.

The OTB's in NY couldn't take Calder today. It seems a case of biting off one's nose to spite one's face.

You nailed it. I should have added commentary instead of assuming most would have been aware that Calder was mentioned as another track that was affected in the bigger story about Churchill. It seemed unnecessary after Sent To Stud clarified.In any event those numbers are telling.
