scav its about a furlong and a bit to the first turn and with 16 runners, you could easily travel 6 wide round the first turn.. i just had a quick look for stats on double figure draw numbers over 12f and its not great (the sample wasnt that high though!)..

I haven't had a chance to look at PPs yet but I sure hope he's not the favorite here. At a mile on the dirt I think there are probably 15-20 horses that would beat him over here and that is saying a lot since there aren't that many good horses running right now.
