I'm sure I'm the only one who cares about this sort of thing, but the source of his name per the Blood-Horse was due to how shy he when having his ears handled while being broken as a yearling. Apparently they called him 'ears' around the barn and just stuck the Euro in front when they submitted the name to the Jockey Club.

i'd hope the national group would hook up with with these people. could be a great platform like Alex's Lemonade a couple years ago.
