I once got the race numbers off by one and bet two back to back races wrong. The first I would have won, but lost, and cost myself about $500. The second, I would have lost, but won, and got all the money back plus a few bucks on a horse I wouldn't have bet to save my life. I did realize my mistake when my balance didn't go up, but couldn't cancel the second bet online. I did bet what I originally meant to bet in the second contest, and of course lost.

I watched the replay of the race in question several times since I bet #10. It looked as if the jock had the inability to switch the stick from his right to his left hand and continued to whip the horse's right hip causing him to veer sharply inward. I initially thought a seagull was involved, but the camera angle likely made it appear that way. The jock really "bailed out" in my opinion and made little effort to stay aboard. Tough loss for a horse who was clearly the best yesterday.

jockey was leaning right and the horse went left and he had nothing under him. Don't think he had a choice. you thkink he could have held on to something and hung on until after the wire to fall off? those damn seagulls are in a hurry to get a hot lunch I forget whch track but one landed right where a horse stepped and splat.

Luis Gonzalez was fine. He got up and walked back to the jocks room under his own power.
