AJ....being that the race was restricted to 4 & 5 year olds, I figured with A.)the breeding and B.)the others all having had a chances to break their maidens, that the horse was a must use. As usual though, I didn't play an exacta, using 1 or 2 other horses with Le Entourage, that made sense (like the winner did). $254 exacta with a $9 horse on top... I continue to be a sh*tty bettor ![]() |

well its just one race, not going to make the right move every time. i wish i would have liked her as much as you as I would have landed a very nice super.
Its strange because while I left her out, in the back of my mind I knew it was a mistake, and when I saw her get rolling when in the clear, I wasn't surprised at all. |

Not saying that she would have won, but having her momentum slowed down enough certainly took ALL chance of her winning the race. Eddie just seemed real indecisive as to where to go after making the turn for home. He did a good enough job saving ground throughout, but he clearly cost her (and me ) a chance at winning. |

Super run by the winner. Where'd that come from?
P.S. I was at the Galapagos a few decades ago during a time where El Nino was about as dry as they'd experienced for quite a while. The FG turf course looks quite a bit like that. How can the turf course be so PARCHED when the area had had quite a decent amount of rain this winter? |
