Speaking of chest thumping...
I thought Taylor Hole's ride on Wayoutsidethebox was solid. He didn't panic and just let the horse run his race. A novel concept these days. |

Love watching him and Coa hook up. They just need swords and shields. |

Okay, he has to pack up and leave now...
Did he have a wager on Levine's horse in the 3rd today? He spent an awful long time looking for him after strangling the crap out of Ain't No Saint. What in the PP's gave him the notion that he should be pressing the pace with this horse? And once he was commited, just go... |

Just go? They went 44 4/5....how fast was he going to go? The speeds actually scratched out of the race and if he had let the new Dutrow set his own pace he would not have won. The bottom line is he gave the horse the best chance it had given the circumstances and lost. The winner got a perfect trip and is probably a better horse. You're nitpicking. |

I think he rode him fine. And, no, I doubt he could have suddenly spurted away. And, even if that was possible, it wouldn't have helped his chances. I just realized he is riding the horse I unloaded on in the 4th. I will surely return after the race to tell you he is the worst rider in history. |
