Good. I would love to see him never break his maiden, but I doubt that is going to happen. $16M for an unproven horse is insanity.

That's harsh. Its not the horse's fault he went for 16 million. I feel bad for the horse. He's going to be like the Arod of horse racing. All that money and it won't amount to much in the clutch. The Yankees will never ever win a championship with Arod on the team. Never.

No but the two groups of owners bidding on him were annoying. Almost as annoying as Steinbrenner.

Yep, he has to win the BJ Juvenile/Florida Derby/KY Derby/Travers/BC Classic to be a success, sad.

Oracle, I have heard the same when he was at Louisville. I also heard some grumplings about soundness. The barn guy at Churchill said he didnt think he would win a Grade I. But I also heard that he is the real deal. I am anxious to see a work.

A macho bidding war product does not translate to wins on the track. Even though I like Pletcher, I gotta hope he flops to stop the insanity.
