I didn't post my specific bets in this thread but I had the exacta for $20, $2 tri and $100 win on Cool Coal Man.

I was getting my ass handed to me all week in cheap claimers. It's good to be right for a change.

Congrats on the win/place wager.....do you keep records of your wagers to see if win versus win/place versus exotics gives you the better ROI??

Twin Spires keeps track of all the wagers and the ROI, but without even looking at that I've noticed that I personally am much better just sticking to win and win place bets, and the exotics are almost always a loss for me but I still try them. I often times kick myself for doing win/place instead of just using all the money on a win bet, but that is the scared part of me still.

I'm most succesful with Pick 3's myself. SFX are a money pit and I swear since the 10 cent SUper payout are down considerably. Maybe that is me since I do not have access to the data to compare.

Congratulations to Matt-O, the original, free-swinging home run hitter.. As has been said before having watched him over the course of the '06 Saratoga meet, when he gets in the zone, it's a thing o' beauty!

Plus, it's yet another openly available 5 figure score in the Selections Room. Tigger.. Hooves.. Bigs.. many others.. Great work!
