Well, Sumwon has to have another vacation - bet she's not happy about that at all! Sorry your big girl has to be placed on idle, Cherie!

We at least have KNS to look forward to, and the anticipation is already exciting

It's in the condx book that way. I would assume (yea, yea I know assuming is dangerous ) the only thing that would change it is if the race didn't fill and an alternate would be carded.

I was not in the best of spirits at all when it happened. When she was coming off the track and started to limp my heart sank into my stomach. Yes I cried like the girl I am. The good news is she'll be back when I get back from Hotsprings. You'll get to see her at chucks farm when it gets up and running. So take good care of her!! (or else).

Cherie, I think one of the main reasons we like you as much as we do is that you love Sumwon at least as much as the rest of us (and probably a whole lot more).

Yes, you're a total pro on horseback and you keep that stable running smoothly, but I'm glad you care so much for Sumwon. I hope you never lose that, never become emotionally detached from the horses you train.

I was looking forward to finally seeing Oaklawn with Sumwon racing. Maybe Kicking N Screamin will race there, giving me a reason to go this year. Take care and have a Merry Christmas.

Yes, that is the good news am trying to focus on also - those days will fly by and it will be spring, and you'll both be back at Churchill before you know it!

And in the meantime the very few days left before KNS starting - fingers crossed - can't get here soon enough darn it...

Sending thanks out again for all the hard work you and the barn crew put towards the care of these horses, safe trips and travels to all!
