Okay, here's a story about what we'll accept and what we'll say is stupid in a movie-- "Air Force One" and "Face/Off" came out the same summer and I remember thinking "Air Force One" was just idiotic because the whole plot hinged on a Secret Service guy turning coat and in reality, that's one of the reasons they always travel in pairs-- so one of them never has the opportunity to betray his charges. So the whole movie was based on something that could never happen.
Mind you, I was perfectly willing in "Face/Off" to accept Nicolas Cage and John Travolta switching faces and no one noticing anything, not even the WIFE of Travolta's character. Maybe I just like John Woo films. I hated "Air Force One." Actually, I hate almost everything Harrison Ford has done in the past fifteen years. Especially "Regarding Henry." |

I like Harrison Ford...but he's never come close to Blade Runner, then again...he's never had such a script!

Seattle, I have to admit I have a preference for Woo films with Chow Yun-Fat in them... too cool for school. Loved "The Killer." |

Since we are bumping threads thought this was a good one. I really liked Clea DuVall in Wildflowers, a chic flick but I loved it.
