I walked the horse, Cosmo, out of the ring to go home, and Cosmo promptly turned around and walked back into the ring! Tee hee. We did five more minutes of figure-8s and then he was ready to leave. Gotta love the smart horses.

By the way, LOVE the signature!!!

Sounds like Cosmo is a smart boy like Bucky. Do you ride him most of the time?

By the way, after I got the call from Buck's owners saying he was colicing and the vet was on her way, I cried the entire 45mins from my office to the barn scared out of my mind that I was going to lose him. His owners laughed at me when I got there and they took one look at me. But they do know that their horse is WELL LOVED.

Glad to hear Buck is doing better, Buffy...

I have been given the chance to school a very green (and young) thoroughbred mare at the barn of a friend, so I am slowly but surely getting my a$$ back into shape so I can start riding her.

If I can survive! I've heard that she enjoys a good rear. LOL

She's cute, though. She's bay with a white blaze down her face. Let's see some pictures of Cosmo too.

a crop right between the ears on the way up usually takes care of that after a few times.

Thanks, didn't think of that. (Haven't been on her yet, so not sure if she's as bad as they say.) As a kid, one of my old trainers had a QH with a rearing problem and I remember her breaking an egg in between his ears to get him to stop. It worked, but it sure was messy.
