i had a game growing up, with eight small metal horses. each a different color, and then a small straight 'track'. thing ran on batteries. had a little starting gate. wonder what happened to it....kept us busy for hours.

Batteries that were used in a game to get the horses running? I KNOW THAT GAME! It was called "Sportsman's Park 1974-2001".

I saw that game at the Showboat in Atlantic City, there were homeless people sleeping on it.

There are now none of these in casinos any longer. There is one on ebay for $29,900. Just in case you were wondering what to get me for xmas.

Still have one. I had one 20 years ago and found it again about three years ago. Makes a nice diversion during poker games.

Not sure where I got it.
