This is the greatest day in sports history!! I think Oklahoma and USC are the two best teams right now. (you were right cannon...USC could beat the combined Mo/Ks team by 20 and probably the Mo team solo by 35!). I think the major lesson in this season is you need a good backup qb. Both of W Va losses came with Pat White missing more than half the game and Oklahoma isn't playing for the title because Bradford basically missed the whole game against Texas Tech. For that reason alone put Hawaii in. Granted it was only Nevada they beat but they did it with their backup playing the whole game.

Despite being sort of an OSU fan I don't think the sweater vest should be there for some reason. They're a guarantee however.

I think all these teams have legitimate claim to the title game...Ohio State, Georgia, LSU, USC, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, Hawaii. I think Oklahoma will jump lots of teams after tonight...just a feeling.

I just don't see how LSU can jump over VTech. Granted they lost to LSU in the 2nd game of the season, but that game was at LSU. VTech has lost 2 games this year and both were to the #2 ranked team in the country at the time of the loss. LSU lost two games to two unranked teams and 1 of them was at home. In addition, LSU just lost last week and you cannot lose games this late in the season and go to the championship game.

wrong info mr bid

no where in the bcs does it say you have to win your confernce title to play in the bcs title game , all the comm'sof the leagues voted this into play

UGA cannot be disqualified because they didn't win the sec , if they get voted higher in the ap / coaches poll they will go ahead of LSU

and thye were voted higher last week

ESPN is a joke saying it's going to be LSU - does ESPN control all the voters

of course not , this is just as bad as when dan rather declared gore the winner in florida and the polls were still open in the western part of the stat in 2000,

espn is trying to get mud of it's face for the whole miles thing by saynig they should be in - a complete joke

Good point--but wasn't Booty hurt in that game. I think it would be hard to argue that USC isnt one of the top 3 teams in the nation.

They lost 48-7. LSU had 600 total yards to 150 for Va Tech. LSU put it on cruise control. The regular season has to count for something.

The regular season does count. VTech lost to the #2 ranked team twice and LSU lost to 2 unranked teams and one of those losses being at home. In this season, the regular season is a mess for almost every team. I think that LSU is either best or 2nd best team in the country, but it is not fair or logical that they leap VTech.

No excuses for W Va. They were given every chance in the world to beat mighty Pitt. at HOME. And the refs certainly gave them all the help they needed.

Hawaii being in the championship would be a complete joke. The others I agree should have something of a shot with the possible exception of Virginia Tech.
