Stern's not happy at all. First of all, the health of the Knicks is of real importance to the NBA. Isaah isn't the problem, he's a virus that obviously eventually will be eliminated, but Dolan is the problem and there is no end to him in sight. |

This is where we disagree, I think that Isiah IS the problem. He has assembled a group of malcontents. Guys that no one else wants because of thier talent and salary. You have to believe that Dolan is just a Moron and he has had the wool pulled over his eyes for a long time by Thomas. Hopefully he wakes up and puts someone in charge who knows what they are doing. I know the NBA needs the Knicks to do well, but the point I was trying to make about Stern being happy is that this might be the straw that broke the camels back.

Of course Isiah is incompetent. That goes without saying. But Dolan is the problem because he encourages his incompetence and is incapable of getting anybody competent to work for him.
Isiah didn't start this juggernaut. That happened when instead of letting Patrick's contract run out they traded him for more contracts ( Glenn Rice???? ) and then signed those guys to long term and expensive deals. Obviously Isiah has exascerbated this beyond belief but he isn't even close to being the root of this disaster. But, Dolan is the common denominator. |
