This opinion, not an unreasonable position, of course insures that these horses will become stars next year. [attempted irony]. Just think of the Remsen winners about whom much was made (Rockport Harbor, Saarland) who turned out to be less than stellar; surely the opposite will work.

Rocky was pretty good and Saarland was just ordinary..

The Saarlands sold pretty dam good for a 10k plodding stallion

Well, to debuke this idea, Nobiz was lauded last year and he turned out to be a useful horse on both dirt and turf, and the same went for Bluegrass Cat in '05. I find it a difficult prep to evaluate as 9F for 2YO's may just be too far.

Where this insight leaves Thunder Gulch, Pine Bluff, Coronado's Quest, Read the Footnotes, Bluegrass Cat and the aforementioned Nobiz Like Shobiz is anyone's guess.. (Not to mention Remsen also-rans Empire Maker, Flashy Bull, Zanjero, Skip Away and Alydar...)
