I thought that penalties might 'do in' the Pats, but they found enough to win!

I just heard Chris Collingsworth say the Colts had everything to their advantage...

Hello.

Marvin Harrison is out and then Gonzales goes down.
They did not have their best wideouts in the game.
WTF is he thinking.

Good to see Dungy and Belecheat are still good buddies.
This is turning into a great thing for the NFL.

I read Bill's book, he has some admirable qualities, but
he is such an a-hole it makes it fun when he loses. Its
much more fun beating people who hate to lose.

i don't have a dog in the fight but i thought the game was unusual for a number of bad calls (and non-calls) by the officials all of which went against ne.

this isn't conspiracy guy speaking. i think nfl ref's are honest. but the pass interference call on moss was ridiculous. and the non-call where the defender was holding his hand in the end zone?

i thought indy had the best of an unusual number of bad calls. maybe that's what collingsworth was talking about.

What about the call that was reversed where the Indy guy caught the ball and had his foot clearly on the sideline. There were 2 refs with a perfect view of the play and they both got it wrong though it was overturned.

Strange how the roles have reversed here. In years past this would have been a death sentence for Indianapolis, losing in the Dome and now being forced to play in Foxboro in January where the Patriots running game and short passing offense would do them in. Now while the home field advantage for the Patriots will still help them, a cold and windy day that takes aways the vertical passing game would actually favor the Colts.

Brady was pretty pissed off at the refs even after the game had been decided - he almost got what would have been a meaningless unsportsmanlike conduct called on him with under a minute left.

Probably wanted to pad the Pats franchise record penalty yardage. While Indy had almost nothing called against them.

If Skippy had been the Colts D coordinator it would have been a Pats blowout.

Anyone with any sense should have known that the way to slow down the Pats O is to get a lot of pressure on Brady from your D-Line... without blitzing guys needed in coverage.

Moss let a few catches get away from him over the middle because he seemed way too conscious of getting hit by Sanders...all while Brady seemed to be thorwing the ball harder than he was in previous games this year.

In the AFC championship game he likely will make sure to catch those balls even if it means he might take a big shot.

The Colts defense played a remarkable game yesterday.
