I hope Better Talk Now runs it down his throat.
Not at all, Dylan Thomas has been rated the best in the world right now. Of course the rest of the world seems to eat up the turf horses so take it with a grain of salt. He did win the Arc though so nothing to sneeze at. Hasn't put a hoof wrong. (Til perhaps today, he isn't as good on soft going)

Wasn't that BTN that was dragging his hooves just getting onto the turf to go into the gate? Wow talk about a horse going 'I don't wanna! You can't make me!" I like that horse as a general rule, he and Shake the Bank are always fun to see.

ETA: Ah they both sucked, oh well.

I don't want to hear any excuses.

"Excuses" nothing, it's a fact Dylan Thomas is a heavy horse, they tend to sink into the turf. That said I don't give a flying crap, I wasn't obsessing about any of the horses in the Turf.

His wins in Europe at this distance were 3 - 6 seconds slower than English Channel....That happened today as well.

Dylan Thomas ran more this year and until today it was 4 G1 wins to 2. English Channel's loss to Better Talk Now was a fraz slower than DT's 10 furlong race. I don't believe EC beat the Epsom Derby winner either. They're both top horses but as the jock said, he was in a disasterous situation on the backstrech, it was hopeless on this surface. EC is still a top horse and certainly the top American turf horse right now. Apples and oranges still considering the track condition so I'll just say don't beat down on DT too much. Just give EC credit for his effort and let's move on.

Euro fans would be wise just to take a day off. Really.

Aren't ALL European times slower than American, with the exception of the Del Mar polytrack which is slower than molasses. Plus, they carry more weight in Europe.

Todd Shrupp is by far the worst person covering horse racing on the whole planet. Besides being annoying as hell the guy has a horrible opinion. It was great seeing him on ESPN trashing War Pass saying the horse wasnt much and would NEVER get the distance. They shoulda had him on after the race. Todd Schlupp is the exact reason tv remote controls have mute buttons....they should replace the button with a picture of his face. He actually made Hank Goldberg look good.....and that aint easy.

and run uphill at some tracks.

no one can seriously argue that slower times in europe at equal distance means euro's are slower than american grass horses.

it's like saying $20 is the same as 20 euro's.

Ok
