Mosse rode him once.....

That was a great field. He was 6th.

Irridescence, Ouija Board, Bullish Luck, Bowman's Crossing (rest in peace), Best Gift, Super Kid, Russian Pearl, Falstaff, Norse Dancer, et al.

Those were the days...

Yes, you do.

You win an evening out with the one and only...............

Jamie Spencer

By the way, the very fact that Mick isn't making the journey over there gives you a good idea of VP's chances over a mile. This is obviously just to get some race fitness into him for the coming months.

Eeeew okay well I'll take it.

At least he can tell me about the time Antonius Pius tried to kill him.

As an aside Mick has only ridden him 4 times.

Wonder if they'll keep Beadman on for the big Class 1 races.....

Yes, he was with Channon. He was a useful 2yo, but didn't really show a great deal as a 3yo.

He's Royal Prince, just so you know.

Nice to see Danacourt back. He was badly injured and missed last season.....

Showed a lot of promise.

Someday Down Town will get a big win.

Good luck to the gentlemen of the old guard..... hope they show the youngsters they still have it.

No pick, just two absolutely stellar fields to watch and enjoy.
