What are the chances that "The Green Monkey" becomes a verb? Example:

"I paid $20,000 for this used car, and it hasn't run properly since I bought it. I got The-Green-Monkied by the seller."

I hope he wins by 10 on Saturday.

That's funny. Think I'll get that started amongst my circle.

I hope he likes the Mud. NY has had more rain in a day than in the last month, and it may take a week to dry out

Weird, I was going to say "slim to none, but closer to none."

However, if you do choose to use it, you'll need to keep everything in perspective. I'll add a little addendum to Justin's thought.

You can't just say that the $20K car got you green-monkied just because it doesn't work. You can only use that verb if you paid $20K for the car, knowing full well that it was only worth about $2-3K, but decided you were willing to pay about 10x what it was worth just because your arch enemy wanted it too.

So it's not really the car's fault for being a piece of crap when valued at $20K, it really is that you yourself caused the whole green-monkeying of the situation by paying some 8-10x what the car was really worth in the first place.

I think that "wow that was phucking stupid" is an already existing, and perfectly suitable expression for those situations.

And he's Dave Litfins' best bet of the day! Says he chased one of the fastest paced maiden races on the circuit...

Does anyone like Joppa Flat's to win here? I know he has seconditis, but he's been losing to some winners (Winstrella, Merchant Marine).

I've been following Joppa Flats for about a year now, and needless to say, he's eaten alot of my money .. as Steve said, he had a perfect trip and the entire stretch to get by in his last, still came up a nose short. He just doesn't finish his races, but is shortening up today. Kaper Lake is one I might take a closer look at.
