I think Rosinka is all dressed up with nowhere to go. The perfect set-ups stop here. Mauralakana ran a much better race when second to her last time.

As for Alexander Tango....I could argue both sides. However, since I have problems with turf speed figures, and think trips and come home times are of the utmost importance, I tend to think she ran exceptionally well. It's almost as though she was in a different race than everyone else. While the leaders were dawdling along on the front end, she was last, and wide all the way around. Yet, against all logic, she mowed them down, getting her final three furlongs in roughly 33 3/5 while racing wide. Pretty impressive if you ask me. It's not as though anyone else gained any perceptable ground in the race.

But, I can also understand someone who takes the other side that it was a slow race full of mediocrities. And, I could also reasonably defend that position. I just don't ultimately feel that way.

wait a while looks to be in form.

Tango will have a tough time with her, but those two stand out IMO

I think Tango at 15-1 morning line is very generous. She'll probably be closer to 6-1 went the gates open though.

.
In fact, the race was run in a typical Euro style - slow early and fast late. It remains to be seen if she can close as well vs. a more typical US pace. Don't get me wrong, I loved Alexander Tango last out - I picked her in the in the Race-of-the-Day contest. But she probably won't get a Euro scenario this time and she is unproven closing into a stronger pace. Class and distance are no problem, however.

Alexander Tango will win!

Brock..... yes, she is still with Tommy. I think Fozzy is looking after her while she is in America.

Alexander Tango's come-home performance in the Garden City was one of the best stretch runs all year. She really exploded and looked good doing so. Anytime a final furlong is sub-12 seconds, and a horse is making up ground, you have to take some notice.

The last race by Wait a While was sure visibly impressive at Saratoga. If she duplicates that one she will be tough..not much value though

Make no mistake, she is a very very good filly. She HAS to have a firm surface to run on though. If she could find firm turf everytime she has run she wouldn't have been beaten too often, ya know.

If she doesn't win tonight i will be very disappointed.
