In the past, I would say definetely October, because Keeneland and Belmont are running and it is a lead up to the Breeders Cup, now that Keeneland has poly-track, it's down on the same level as a track like Turfway, but I guess as long as Belmont is running, nothing else really matters...

April. The final preps for the derby are the most exciting time and the weather has changed.
December is just terrible.

Most hated has to be December Although the Fair Grounds is running it still lacks any Turf racing what so ever.
Favorite has to be Late March thru Late April because Oaklawn is going strong until the 2nd Sat of April.
