Its really sad that people in trouble always use jesus as a crutch. Yes, some of these jailhouse confessions are real and their lives are changed, but it isent something that happens over night. Just because you accept christ doesn't make you a perfect person...

it's just part of the whole oops, got arrested, do the following:

shave
get a hair cut
buy a suit
apologize
invoke jesus' name
throwing god in helps
