It's such a shame, because this is another race that could be sorted out by the weather. At the moment, i would say it is unlikely that Silkwood will run, either.
Michael Jarvis has already stated that she is a filly that loves really fast ground, and she is unlikely to get that at York. Anymore rain and i think she will be a non runner, also

Another cracking run by Peeping Fawn, best filly or mare in the world?? Its not as crazy as it sounds.. 4 G1 wins, Murtagh praised her as brilliant.. 9 runs this year and shes still improving it seems... Silkwood disappointed, travelled strongly but at the end, didnt find much.. Allegretto came 2nd..

Just got back from York (boy, i forgot how far it is from Newmarket to York and back again).
Great day's racing for all (apart from my wallet)!!!! Only winner i backed was Sir Gerry. I managed to pick out the 2nd and 4th in the Ebor and Fred's Lad (3rd)...... wasn't enough to keep me in profit though. Greatwallofchina was a big let down to the Ballydoyle camp who expected a very good effort today. However, if you saw him in the paddock you could be forgiven in thinking he was a 5yo. He was so laid back, and he raced too lazily for his own good. Johnny said he was still a big baby and didn't really know what he was doing. He should win next time. Was good to see dome old friends from Germany and Ireland who i haven't seen in a while. Beautiful day there, but came home to floods

Id really love to see Peeping Fawn race at Leopardstown in a few weeks in the Matron to get her 5th G1 in a row and over 8,10 and 12f. And then off to the Arc, Breeders Cup, etc etc She really is something else. 10 runs in 4 and a half months..
