That's confidence for you. I hope you're right, i'm still concerned about 12 furlongs on what will probably be soft ground. He may find horses like Soldier Of Fortune staying on too strongly for him, but we shall see.

Didn't Fabre say he liked giving him plenty of time between his races? I may be thinking about something else, but i thought i read that somewhere. If that's the case he probably won't go to Monmouth, there are only 20 days between the Arc and the Breeder's Cup this year.

btw, he has a great turn of foot that is crucial in the arc esp with big fields so that you can get yourself out of trouble.. Id be surprised if he didnt stay 12f to be honest..

I'm pretty sure the Arc is on the 7th and the BC on the 27th. It's quite annoying for several european trainers as quite a few would want to run in both i imagine, but for them to have a hard race in the Arc (an easy race in the Arc isn't possible) and then to be shipped to America and get settled and then have another hard race within 20 days, as i trainer i'd be choosing one or the other, not both.

Trainers are more likely to run in the Arc and then wait for Hong Kong.

Let me get this straight..... he's now one of the favorites for the Arc cause he beat such illustrious horse such as Holocene and Lawman?

Okaaaay.

Nice enough horse who will have a good view of Vodka's behind when she wins the Arc.
