Then in her last race she was a well-beaten third in a minor stakes race in which she was GETTING five pounds from the top two. Sounds like a sure-fire G1-winner to me! |

DREAM RUSH figures to get the most pace pressure she's ever seen, and could really be sandwiched between two horses into the turn. If she's a star, she overcomes. Otherwise, look out closers. DEBBIE GOT EVEN was absolutely pace compromised in her most recent start. I'll forgive. If you also toss her poor races over the winter (off form, not her forte down in the south), she's a solid filly. At a huge price, she is okay to hit the board and even her underneath DREAM RUSH will be an okay exacta. TIME'S MISTRESS has run races fast enough before too. The key in this race is whether or not you try and beat the favorite. If you do, the race is wide-open. 13 fillies going 7 furlongs - my instinct tells me to try and get a price home. |

Here's my take on this race:
In a Dream Rush, Baron Thatcher with her Silver Knockers, got High Again with Appealing Zophie in Aston Park, then went Down on Boca Grande on her Cotton Blossom Sheets because Debbie Got Even with her Timely Mistress in AKRONism. ![]() I'd love to hear Tom Durkin call this one!
